Newmarket: Body Of Man Found In Woods

An investigation has started after the body of a man was discovered in woodland in Newmarket.
The body of a man, believed to be in his 30s or 40s, was found in woods off Bury Road at around 6:15pm yesterday (Thursday).
Police fear he may have frozen to death.
The discovery came after four men went to Newmarket Police Station to report they had not seen a friend for four days, but they had been out searching and found him dead in the wooded area.
The man had not previously been reported missing to Police.
Officers from Suffolk Police immediately attended the location described to them and found the body of a man.
The area has been cordoned off while investigations continue.
Police are currently treating the death is unexplained.
