Newmarket: Fatal Crash

One person has died in a crash on the A1304 near Newmarket.

Police and fire crews attended the scene, just north of Newmarket, at 2.15am today (Sunday).

Only one vehicle was involved.

Cambridgeshire Police say they think it came off the carriageway and hit a tree.

The crash happened between B1506 Well Bottom and A11 / A14 (Red Lodge).

Police are asking witnesses, or anyone with any information to come forward, and call the Collision Investigation Unit on 101.
