Newmarket: Man Stabbed In Wrist

Detectives are appealing for two witnesses to come forward after a man was stabbed in the wrist in Newmarket.
The offence occurred between 11pm and 11.30pm Friday 8 November in a park near to All Saints Road. The victim, a man in his twenties, was approached by two or three other men and was then sprayed in the face and stabbed.
Police are trying to trace two witnesses who approached the victim and asked him if he was ok shortly after the attack. They are described as white and speaking with a Polish accent and officers are keen to speak to them as they may be able to assist with their enquiries.
The day after this incident, Saturday 9 November, two men from Newmarket, aged 18 years-old and 20 years-old, were arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm with intent. They have been bailed to return to Bury St Edmunds Police investigation centre on Wednesday 11 December pending further investigation.
