Newmarket: Woman Suffers Serious Head Injury

Police in Newmarket say the woman who was found with serious head injuries - wasn't suspicious.

Officers in Newmarket have continued to make enquiries into the circumstances surrounding and have told Heart, they're satisfied that the injuries were sustained through a fall.

Police were called to an address in Grosvenor Yard, Newmarket at around 7.10pm, Wednesday 4 September with a report that a woman in her 60s had a serious head injury.

Police and the Ambulance service attended and the woman was taken to West Suffolk Hospital to receive treatment.

Following enquiries, taking a full account from the woman and Crime Scene Investigators visiting the home address, police are satisfied that the woman sustained the injuries after suffering from a fall.
