A man has been left seriously injured after being trampled by a herd of cows in St Neots.
A critical care paramedic, ambulance and fast response car were called to a field in the town yesterday (Monday) at 7:30pm.
The man in his 60s was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge for treatment.
East of England Ambulance Service Trust spokesman Gary Sanderson said: "On our arrival, the man who we believe to be in his 60s received significant injuries.
Following treatment, stabilisation and immobilisation by the ambulance crews, he was taken to the specialist trauma centre at Addenbooke's Hospital in Cambridgeshire for further care."
