Police in Haverhill want to speak to anyone who saw two men approach two young girls in Haverhill on Tuesday.
It happened at around 4.50pm on Tuesday 25 November in Chalkstone Way.
The two girls, both aged 11-years-old, had walked out of the Motsfield Park play area onto Chalkstone Way when they were approached by two men who asked them their names and how old they were.
One of the men then put an arm around each girl and at this point the girls ran away down Coupals Road along an alley towards Jay Close. The men then appeared at the top of the alley, but made no further attempt to speak to or approach the girls.
The man who put his arm around the girls is described as white, around 5ft 8in tall, and was wearing dark clothing. The second man is described as black, also around 5ft 8in tall, with dark clothing and a red T-Shirt depicting ‘Minion’ from the film Despicable Me.
Officers would like to speak to the men about this incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Samuel Worvell at Haverhill Police Station on 101 quoting reference HH/14/2349, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
