Van Driven Wrong Way Along M11 & A14

A man has been charged after a van was stolen and driven almost 50 miles the wrong way along the M11 and A14.
Officers were called at about 1.40am on Wednesday after a white Transit van was taken from Stock Road in Billericay in Essex.
The vehicle was driven to Harlow where it joined the M11, travelling north on the southbound carriageway.
The van was eventually stopped on the A14 at Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire.
Ryan Nee, 19, of Harebell Way, Romford, has been charged with burglary and theft, taking a motor vehicle without consent, dangerous driving, driving without insurance and driving without a licence, Essex Police said.
He was remanded in police custody to appear at Basildon Magistrates' Court today.
