Wimblington: Man Dies After Crash

A man has died after a crash on the A141 in Wimblington near March.

Emergency services were called to a crash between a car and a van just after 9.20am today (Thursday).

The road was closed between Wimblington and Manea Road, but re-opened several hours later.

Cambridgeshire Police later named the man killed as 73 year old Frederick Overall from Chatteris, who was driving the car.

A 40 year old man from Godmanchester, who was driving the van, was slightly injured.

Anybody who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Cambridgeshire Police on 101.
