Detectives investigating the murder of James Attfield in Colchester's Castle Park almost two weeks ago, have released a 27 year-old woman on bail after an arrest on Friday in connection with the enquiry.
The arrest on Friday is the second made by officers investigating the brutal killing which happened on Saturday, March 29. The man arrested last week was subsequently released without charge.
The 27-year-old woman's been bailed pending further enquiries until Tuesday, April 15.
Officers are continuing to appeal for information to identify three men depicted in efit images and those people captured on CCTV near the park in Middle Mill on the evening of Friday, March 28 and the early hours of Saturday, March 29.
