A woman from the Essex-Suffolk whose struggled with an eating disorder for more than thirty years says to beat it you have to stay strong.

Debbie Francis from Pebmarsh has been telling Heart what life is like with bulimia. It's as we mark Eating Disorder Awareness week.

1.6 million people in the UK are believed to suffer from an eating disorder.

Meanwhile charity B-Eat are using this week to launch their new manifesto to lobby the government.

They want children as young as eight to be given lessons on self-esteem - to prevent them developing eating disorders.
