Armed Robbery In Bude Sweet Shop

A man, armed with a knife and a meat cleaver has robbed a newsagents in Bude.
At around 2 o'clock on the afternoon of Wednesday the 18th December, a man went into the Candy Shop newsagents in Bude.
He was armed with a knife and a meat cleaver, and threatened the cashier of the shop in Bell Vue Road.
He fled from the store with the contents of the till.
Police say the man is described as being aged in his 20 to 30’s, approximately 5’ 8” in height, slim build, dark hair, with a thin face and clean shaven.
He was wearing a black puffa jacket, which was noticeably too big for him, slim cut light coloured trousers, believed to be either cream/grey or pale blue and dark leather footwear.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have either witnessed the incident or has any knowledge as to the identity of the man.
