Police raided eight properties in Cornwall and arrested nine people in total, all in connection with the supply of class A drugs and stolen goods.
It was part of a planned, 3 month operation called Operation Minnis; the warrants were issued simultaneously at 8am to avoid word getting out.
The dog unit, financial investigation unit and six out of ten force support groups (FSG) across the whole of Devon and Cornwall were involved.
Forced entry under the Drug and Theft Act Warrants were used to gain entry and those arrested have been taken in for questioning.
It’s thought some items have also been seized from the properties in Bodmin, Newquay and St Austell and taken back to Bodmin police station.
I’m told all the suspects they were after have been arrested but that raids will continue throughout today.
