Looe: Schoolgirl Approached By A Man In A Van

Police are looking for a van driver who approached a 10-year old girl in Cornwall on Monday December 9th.

She was on her way home from school when she was beckoned over towards a grey transit-sized van. 

It happened on Pendrim Road near the junction of Elm Tree Road in east Looe around 3pm. 

The schoolgirl was beckoned over towards a grey transit-sized van. 

She walked away and the driver beckoned her over again. The girl then ran off. 

The van is believed to have driven off in the direction of Barbican Road. 

The driver is described as a white man in his early 40s with thinning grey hair.
