Terry Oldham was found dead at his home in Dolcoath Road in Camborne on the 1st of April.
Detectives investigating the death have issued an appeal for information about the final weeks of his life.
The 63 year old had sustained serious injuries, which officers have described to Heart as "horrific", and have shocked officers working the case.

We believe that Mr Oldham was the victim of abuse in recent months and we are appealing to anyone who can provide information on events leading up to his death.
In particular we would like to speak to anyone who had seen, or been in contact with Mr Oldham in the weeks before he died."
