Armed Police Respond To Boscombe Attack

Bournemouth detectives are investigating an attack on a man, which prompted a response by armed officers.

He's in hospital with a head injury after being hit with some kind of weapon in Boscombe at around 4.50pm on Saturday August 17th.

He was taken to Poole hospital, but it's knot known how serious the head injury is.

Police arrested a man at the scene in Aylesbury Road. They say armed officers were called as 'a precaution'.
