Detectives investigating an attempted murder in Poole have arrested and bailed a man.
At 5.30pm on Monday 16 September 2013, officers were called to Sea View Road, after two men were attacked and left with serious, but not life threatening injuries.
A cordon was put in place at Sea View Road.
Detective Inspector Becky Riggs, of Poole and Bournemouth CID, said:
“This was a very serious incident.
“I am appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward as I believe that two further men where involved in the incident.
“Anyone with information should call Dorset Police urgently.
“All calls will be treated in strictest confidence.”
One of the men is described as white, tall and aged in his mid to late twenties. He has short brown hair and was wearing a black jacket. The other man is also white and was wearing an orange T-shirt. He may be injured as a result of this incident.
A 25-year-old man arrested in connection with the attack has been released on bail until late October 2013 pending further enquiries.
