Car Crashes Off Flyover Near Ringwood

A driver's been arrested after a car crashed through a barrier and off a flyover near Ringwood.

The green BMW 325i, registered to a man from Poole, hit a barrier on the A338 at Ashley Heath at 12.35am today (Thursday 15 May), and ended up on it's side on the A31 below.

The two men in the car have been taken to Poole General Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Dorset Police say a man from the car has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences, and is helping officers with their inquiries.

The A31 was closed at 12.50am, with a diversion along the A338, then reopened at 4.10am.
