Car Driven At Speed Causes Damage

Dorset Police have arrested a man after a car being driven around Poole on Wednesday caused extensive damage.

We're told a silver Vauxhall Vectra failed to stop on several occasions after being involved in collisions on West Street, Crest Road and Mansfield Road on Wednesday afternoon.

There was a further sighting at Poole Park. Officers say the vehicle was being driven at speed an hit another car before crashing into  Newfoundland roundabout.

No-one was injured.

A 24-year-old man from Poole has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving, having no licence and being drunk in charge of a vehicle.
