Concern Over Missing Man

Police in Bournemouth say they're getting really worried about a 21-year-old man who's been missing for more than three weeks.

Robert Horwood left his home in Boscombe on Saturday, 6 November 2010. His landlord saw him briefly visit on Thursday, 18 November 2010, but he's not made contact with his family for three weeks.

Sergeant Andy Cutler, from Bournemouth police, said:

"We are concerned for Robert’s wellbeing as he has been missing for a number of weeks now and this behaviour is completely out of character for him.

"From speaking with friends and family, I understand that while he may still be in the Bournemouth and Poole areas, it’s also possible that he is in the Watford area of Hertfordshire, where he has family."

Robert is white, five feet eleven inches tall, of a slim build, with light brown short hair and hazel coloured eyes.

Sergeant Cutler continued:

"I’d urge anyone who knows of Robert’s whereabouts – and anyone else who has seen him since Saturday, 6 November – to contact the police straight away.

"I’d also urge Robert to contact us as soon as possible – we simply want to know that you’re ok."

Anyone with any information or knowledge as to Robert’s whereabouts should call Dorset Police on 01202 222 222.
