The incident happened along Commercial Road, near to the Civic Centre by the crossing leading to North Road, at around 8.30am on Monday 4 February 2013.

The victim, a 26-year-old Christchurch woman, was inappropriately touched by an unknown man but did not sustain any injuries.

Police Constable Deborah Day, of Poole police, said: "This was a frightening incident for the victim and I am now able to release an e-fit of a man I am keen to speak with.

"Due to the time of day there would have been a high volume of traffic in the area and I am hoping that somebody witnessed the incident or has information about the offender.

"He is described as a white man of slim build, around five feet eight inches tall with short brown hair.

"He was wearing blue jeans and a jacket with the hood pulled up.

"Anyone who recognises this man is urged to call Dorset Police on the non-emergency number 101."

Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 04:93. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
