As part of the £1 million improvement works at Springbourne Roundabout in Bournemouth, roads in the area are going to be closed at night for the next two weeks.
In order to resurface the road, the junction of Holdenhurst Road and Richmond Park Road will be closed between 7pm and 11.30pm from July 19th until July 23rd.
Similar closures will also take place on Richmond Park Road to the north of Springbourne roundabout between July 28th and 30th, to allow for the new road to be resurfaced.
Ian Kalra, Transportation Manager, said: "We have successfully carried out the critical part of the project which was to remove and replace the small roundabout with a new traffic signal junction.
"Now that the new junction is in place we have to carry out the resurfacing and new markings. To keep disruption to a minimum these final works will be carried out during the evenings. We will keep motorists informed of these closures through the interactive road signage and I would like to assure everyone that we are doing all we can to keep disruption to an absolute minimum."
