Detectives in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a sexual assault at a bus stop in the town.
The incident, in which a 15-year-old Christchurch girl was inappropriately touched by a man and kissed on the cheek without her consent, happened at a bus stop along Holdenhurst Road at 9.45pm on Tuesday, 29 March 2011.
Detective Sergeant David Colomb, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said:
“The man was of Chinese or Japanese appearance, in his late 20s, of a heavy build, with a black beard and black hair.
“He was wearing a blue or black jacket and saggy blue jeans.
“He was speaking with a foreign accent which was possibly Japanese.
“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, and anyone with information about the man responsible, to contact me urgently.”
