Iconic Eagle is Back

The iconic eagle on Barclays House in Poole town centre is back.

The old one was taken down 3 years ago surrounded by controversy that it had Nazi connotations.

The bank has always denied that was the reason it got removed, saying it was because of rebranding.

Now a 1.5 tonne bright blue bird has been put up instead.
