Lytchett Matravers: Death Not Suspicious

Police say the death of a woman found in her garden near Poole is not being treated as suspicious.

The 62-year-old victim, who has not been named, was discovered with life-threatening injuries at the rear of the property in Wareham Road, Lytchett Matravers, near Poole.

Police said they were called to the house at 8.45am on Friday September the 20th following a call from the ambulance service.

The victim was taken to Poole Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.

A 73 year old Poole man who was arrested has now been released without charge and police have now left the property.
