A man's been attacked and robbed in the Boscombe area of Bournemouth.
It happened at around 9.30pm on Friday 19th October on Florence Road near to the junction with Sea Road.
A 40-year-old man from Bournemouth was walking along Florence Road when he was approached from behind by two women and a man.
They pulled him to the ground, attacked him and stole his mobile phone.
The victim sustained injuries to his face and hands which required hospital treatment.
Detective Constable Neil Third, of Bournemouth CID, said:
“This appears to be an unprovoked attack.
“The victim has suffered nasty injuries but was lucky that they were not more serious.
“It is possible that someone saw something that can help with our investigation as the incident occurred within view of the seating area of the Urban Beach restaurant.
“I urge any witnesses or anyone with information to contact Dorset Police on 101 in the strictest confidence.”
Police say all the attackers were white with English accents – one of the women has brown coloured hair.
The stolen mobile phone is a black Android MTK 7365.
