A man has died after three vehicles collided on the A35 on Monday evening.
The 49-year-old from Cleveland suffered fatal injuries after two vans and transporter vehicle collided on between Bridport and Dorchetser around 6pm.
A 32-year-old man from Bournemouth was seriously hurt and has been taken to Southampton General for treatment, while a third man - aged 48 and from Wareham - suffered minor injuries.
The road was closed there for nearly 12 hours while police carried out investigation work but reopened on Tuesday morning.
