Man Found With Serious Head Injuries In Christchurch

Police are investigating what happened to a man, found with serious head injuries in a lane in Christchurch.
He remains in a critical condition at Southampton General Hospital after being found unconscious on Dudmoor Farm Road yesterday (Monday 31 March).
Officers think he may have been hit by a vehicle.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said:
"At 12.03pm on Monday 31 March, Dorset Police was informed by the ambulance service that an unconscious man had been found on Dudmoor Farm Road in Christchurch.
"The man had sustained a very serious head injury and was taken to Southampton Hospital.
"Officers are unsure of how the man sustained the injury, although it may have been due to a collision."
