Man Needs Surgery After Hit And Run

Police in Dorset are investigating a hit and run in West Lulworth which left a man badly injured.

He was knocked down while walking along Main Road, in the early hours of Saturday 2 August.

A Dorset Police spokesperson said the collision took place at 2.15am and the car failed to stop at the scene.

The man, who's in his 20's and from West Lulworth, was admitted to hospital with serious injuries which required a surgical procedure.

Anyone with information about the identity of the driver at the time of the incident should contact the Weymouth Traffic Department on 101, quoting incident number 321 of the 3rd August.
