Man Stabbed And Sprayed In Bournemouth

Detectives in Bournemouth are investigating an attack in the Westbourne area of the town.
It happened between 8pm and 10pm on Monday 16th September 2013 along Seamoor Road.
The victim, a 27-year-old Bournemouth man, was walking in the direction of Chez Fred chip shop when he came across a group of six or seven men aged in their late twenties.
He was sprayed in the face with what police are calling an "incapacitant spray" by the group before being stabbed in the leg. The victim needed hospital treatment.
Detective Constable James Lees, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said:
“This was a seemingly unprovoked attack.
“I am appealing for witnesses and anyone with information about those responsible to contact Dorset Police in confidence as soon as possible.”
No arrests have been made.
