Dorset police says 20 year old Kewen Khorsheed died from a single stab wound to the chest.
Earlier this week a 28 year old mans appeared in court charged with his murder. Three other men also appeared before magistrates - two charged with GBH and violent disorder and the other with violent disorder.
A fifth man's been bailed.
The attack happened last Thursday (Jan 27th) at an address along Wimborne Road, at the junction with Hillcrest Road, in Moordown. Five men, all from Bournemouth, were initially arrested on suspicion of murder.
At the time, Detective Inspector Craig Travers, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said:
“Separate from this incident, local police officers encountered a disturbance at Bar Zuka, along Charminster Road, at around 1.30am yesterday morning – around an hour before the victim was discovered with serious injuries along Wimborne Road.
“No complaints were made to the police officers, who remained in the area while members of the public calmly dispersed – however, it’s possible that this incident may be linked with the man’s death.
“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed either the altercation at Bar Zuka or the later incident along Wimborne Road, which is believed to have occurred between 2am and 2.30am, to get in touch urgently.”
DI Travers continued: “This is a highly unusual incident and I would urge anyone in the Moordown area with concerns to contact the Safer Neighbourhood Team.
“It’s believed that the victim and the arrested men are known to each other and I would like to stress that other members of the public are not at risk.”
