The number people who are obese in Bournemouth and Poole will nearly double in the next 15 years.

That's according to a new report which says by 2025 over 130,000 people in the area (four out of ten) will be seriously overweight.

The research, by Bournemouth and Poole NHS, also says where you live can make you more likely to be obese. It highlights obesity hotspots including Kinson, Strouden Park and parts of Hamworthy.

Lindley Owen's from NHS Bournemouth and Poole who wrote the report - he says it's partly down to what local facilities there are:

"People have less access to open space, less opportunities to take everyday physical activity, less access to sources of good fresh food and less opportunities for everyday leisure".
