A man's died after being hit by a car in Ferndown in Dorset.
It happened at around 2am on Saturday 13 July, in the underpass at the Ashley Heath roundabout on the A31.
Police say a 34-year-old man was in a collision with a Skoda car, driven by a male driver. He died as a result of his injuries.
The westbound carriageway was closed there for about 6 hours. Police say it was to protect the other emergency services, and so they could investigate and gather evidence about how it happened.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw the man or the car before the crash, is asked to call Dorset Police on 101, and ask for PC Dave Lawrence at Poole Traffic Unit.
