Police Find Murder Suspect In Dorchester

A man wanted on suspicion of murdering a woman up in Worcester has been arrested in Dorchester.

A 51-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a woman found dead at her home.

The body of Jacqueline Harrison, 47, was found at a flat in Gresham Road, Worcester, on Thursday. A post-mortem examination showed she had sustained significant assault injuries, West Mercia Police said.

A force spokesman said the man was arrested earlier today in Dorchester.

Police said they are still keen to speak to anyone who saw or spoke to Jacqueline in the last week of March or the first week of April.

Detective Inspector Gerry Smith said: "We are in the early stages of this inquiry and want to speak to Jacqueline's friends or associates who may know about her last movements/"
