Police Investigate Big Fight In Bournemouth

Police are appealing for witnesses after three men were assaulted during a big fight in the Charminster area of Bournemouth.

The incident, in which one large group of men attacked another, happened outside the San Miguel bar on Charminster Road at around 2am on Sunday 13 January 2013.

A 31-year-old man from Bournemouth suffered a fractured shoulder, a 23-year-old man from Bournemouth sustained a fractured right eye socket, and a 27-year-old Bournemouth man was left with minor injuries to his face.

Two of the injured men were taken to hospital for treatment.

Detective Constable James Batty, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this assault to find out exactly what happened.

 “Two men have been left with nasty injuries and required hospital treatment.

 “We have descriptions of the two main offenders.

 “The first is a man aged in his late twenties with a dark complexion, about five feet ten inches tall, of average build and wearing an orange or red coloured jumper with dark jeans.

 “The second is described as a man aged in his early to mid thirties with a dark complexion, around five feet eleven inches tall, of slim build and wearing a dark navy blue body warmer, dark blue jeans and a black t-shirt.

 “I would urge anyone who witnessed this assault, or who may have more information about those involved to contact police as soon as possible.


“All calls will be treated in the strictest of confidence.”

No arrests have been made.
