Poole: Appeal Over Headbutt Attack On Teenager

Police in Poole are asking for help to find a man who headbutted a teenage boy in the town centre.
Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.
The attack happened at approximately 2.20pm on Sunday 8 June 2014 at the bus station near to the Dolphin Centre.
Police Constable Simon Young, of Poole police, said:
“A 16-year-old boy from Poole stood with a friend waiting for a bus when an unknown man ‘barked’ at him aggressively for no apparent reason. When the victim asked him what he was doing the suspect head-butted him and ran off toward the service road.
“The boy sustained a small cut to his face as a result of the attack.
“Following enquiries I am now able to release a CCTV image of a man we wish to speak with. It is possible that he has information that can assist with the investigation.
“I urge the man pictured – or anyone who recognises him – to contact the police as soon as possible.
“All calls are treated with the strictest confidence.”
