Search For Man After Weymouth Attack
Detectives in Weymouth are investigating an attack on a woman in the town - they've released CCTV of a man they're looking for.
A woman in her 30s was assaulted by a man between 4.15am and 4.30am on Sunday 7th July 2013 behind the council offices in North Quay.
The victim wasn't injured.
Detective Constable Andy Marsh, of Weymouth CID, said:
“Despite the early hours there were several people around at the time of the incident.
“Following enquiries I am now able to release two pictures of a man that I am keen to speak with.
“I believe that the man pictured can help us ascertain exactly what happened.
“I urge him or anyone who recognises him, to come forward as soon as possible.”
The man pictured is wearing a T-shirt that appears to say ‘Manhattan’ on the front and it is believed that he left The Lazy Lizard bar just after 4am.
No arrests have been made.
