Shower Your Way To World Record!

The largest number of people ever known to shower together gathered at the weekend to smash their way to a brand new Guinness World Record.

152 people flocked to Bournemouth Beach and lathered up under the huge 6 metre shower structure. The new record beats the previous two year old American held record of 145 people showering together.

Anna Orford, official adjudicator for Guinness World Records, said:

 "The people of Bournemouth have to be applauded for getting into the spirit of the day and taking a shower together. Their reward is a new Guinness World Record for the most people showering simultaneously at the same venue. Congratulations to everyone involved!"
