Bournemouth Shopping Centre Evacuated After Stabbing

The Sovereign Centre in Boscombe was evacuated and closed after a man was stabbed just after 1pm this afternoon.
The man was taken to Bournemouth Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A cordon has been placed around the scene and the entire shopping centre has been evacuated in order for investigation work by CSI to take place.
One man in his forties has been arrested and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
DI Joe Williams said:
“We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, which we believe happened in the area of the 99p store within the Sovereign Centre, to contact us.
“We would like to reassure members of the public that there is not any further risk to their safety as a result of this incident."
