Teen Thrown In Lake In Poole Park

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a robbery in Poole Park.

The incident, in which a 16-year-old boy was assaulted by three men, before they stole personal possessions,
happened in the car park of Mezza Luna, in Poole Park, between 12.15am and 12.30am on Tuesday, 4 January 2011.

The victim, who was thrown into the lake, was not injured during the robbery.

One of the offenders was white, of stocky build, about six feet tall with chin length blond hair. He was wearing a
black hooded top with large yellow writing across the front, jeans and black shoes.

The second offender was also white but shorter, wearing a smart woollen hip to knee length jacket.

The third offender was white but no other description is available.

The three men were in a group with some women.

Police Constable Aimee Stubbington, of Poole police, said: “This was a serious incident and I would encourage any witnesses to contact me urgently..

“After the victim was thrown into the lake, the offenders walked off toward the bus station in Poole town centre.

 “Anyone with any information about this incident should contact Dorset Police in confidence on 01202 22 22 22 urgently.”
