Two Men Injured In Robbery

Detectives in Bournemouth are investigating a robbery in the Boscombe area, in which two men were injured.

A group of men allegedly assaulted them and stole a wallet from one of the victims, between 10.30pm on Saturday 25 May along Christchurch Road near Fishtales fish and chip shop.

One of the victims, a 37-year-old man, sustained a broken nose and bruising and a 55-year-old man received cuts and bruising to his face. Both men are from Bournemouth.

Detective Constable Sara Butler, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said:

"I am now in a position to release a CCTV image which shows two men I am keen to identify. I believe they can help me with the investigation.

"I would urge the men pictured - and anyone who recognises them - to contact Dorset Police, in confidence."
 
Two men, a 23-year-old man from Manchester and a 25-year-old man from Bournemouth were arrested on suspicion of robbery and released on bail pending further enquiries.
