Woman Dies After Car Hits Tree

A woman has died after a crash near Wareham in Dorset.

Police tell us a red Seat Leon came off the road and hit a tree on Tout Hill Road at about 8pm on Sunday.

The woman, who hasn't yet been named by officers but is said to live nearby, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed for investigations.

Police are asking anyone who saw what happened to get in touch.
