Woman Sexually Assaulted At Bus Stop

Police have released an E-Fit of a man who they believe sexually assulted a 55-year-old woman at a bus stop in Poole in Dorset.

Between 3.10pm and 3.30pm on Thursday, 5 May 2011, a man inappropriately touched a woman at the bus stop outside Poole Hospital on Longfleet Road.

Detective Sergeant Neil Wright, of Poole CID, said:

"Following further enquiries, I am now able to release an e-fit of the man responsible for this distressing attack.

"I am appealing for anyone who recognises this man to contact me urgently."

The offender is white, aged in his late twenties to early thirties, around five feet ten inches tall, of a medium build, with brown and ginger collar length hair.

He was wearing blue jeans, a pale-coloured Lacoste T-shirt and blue trainers with white piped edging.

DS Wright continued:

"The area around Poole Hospital will have been busy at this time in the afternoon and it may be that someone, perhaps several people, will have witnessed this incident or seen this man.

"Anyone who has any information is urged to get in touch with Dorset Police at the earliest possible opportunity.

"All calls will be treated in the strictest of confidence."
