Campaign To Reopen Public Toilets

A campaign has been launched to get public toilets in Hemel Hempstead reopened.
The manager at Bennetts End Community Centre Sharon Lowe says since the public toilets were closed, more people are using the toilets in the centre, which is costing them money in toilet paper and cleaning.
There have also been reports from residents that some people are relieving themselves in bushes near their homes.
The centre is campaigning for Dacorum Borough Council to reopen the public toilets. Sharon Lowe says the council have offered Adeyfield Community Centre money to refurbish their toilets but Bennetts End have not received the same offer.
