12-Year Olds Arrested After School Fire

Two 12 year old boys have been arrested after a fire in the ground of a disused school in Stevenage on Friday August 20th.

The fire, which occurred shortly before 5:15pm, was in a portacabin style building on the site of the disused Shaphall Green Infant School on Shephall Lane.

Police in Hertfordshire has told us that extensive damage was caused but no one was injured.

One boy from Stevenage was arrested on Friday on suspicion of arson.

The other was arrested on Saturday also on suspicion of arson.
