Two 17 year old men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Detectives from the Operation Boson team arrested the men on suspicion of attempt murder as part of their wider investigation into gun crime in Luton.
Armed officers executed the warrants at around 6am at two addresses in Dunstable Road and one in Bank Close. Both suspects have been taken to Luton Police Station for questioning. Their arrest relates to a shooting in Burnham Road, Stopsley in Luton in April.
£2000 worth of reward money is available from Crimestoppers and Bedfordshire Police for information about gun crime in Luton. A further £10,000 has also been made available from Crimestoppers in relation to the murder of Paul Foster who was shot and killed in April this year.
Protection measures are available to anyone who wishes to speak to the police but are frightened to do so.
