Body Found In Woods

Police say they're not treating as suspicious the death of a man whose body was found in woods in Luton.

Officers were called to the recreation ground close to the junction of Stockingstone Road and New Bedford Road at around 3pm on Tuesday 30 July 2013 after a member of the public reported seeing a man in a wooded area.

Paramedics were unable to revive the man who was pronounced dead a short while afterwards.

Officers cordoned off the area so that forensic teams could carry out a full and thorough search while house-to-house inquiries also took place.

Bedfordshire Police have told Heart they have now passed the investigation into the death to the Coroner.
