Detectives in Luton are appealing for information after an attempted robbery in a property on Hightown Road on Wednesday (19th Jan).
Between 11pm and 11.20pm, a group of offenders entered the premises and demanded that the five adult occupants hand over property. It is believed the offenders were in possession of a firearm.
Nothing was taken and the offenders fled the area on foot at around 11.25pm, it is thought between five and seven people were involved however only two of them have been described as mixed race males wearing hooded tops.
Detective Constable Mark Bryce, investigating, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and seen the offenders as they left the area. Fortunately nobody was hurt however there was some damage caused during the incident.”
