Biography

In her international debut at the 2010 World Championships, Harriet won gold in the 100m Breaststroke (SB9); her greatest achievement yet.

London will be her first Paralympic Games. Harriet first went swimming when she was a baby and has now been competing for 11 years.

She currently trains with City of Peterborough swimming club. She describes her sporting influences as Jane Tomlinson and Lance Armstrong.

Most recently, Harriet produced some strong performances at the 2012 British Championships in London, where she won a gold medal in the 100m Breaststroke (SB9), her favourite event.

After she has finished competing, Harriet hopes to work as a physiotherapist. She has beckwith-wiedemann syndrome.
