Robbery in St Albans

Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a robbery in St Albans last week.
The incident occurred between 9.25pm and 9.30pm on Monday, January 10 on Victoria Street.
The victim, a 48 year old woman from St Albans, was walking towards the railway station when she was struck from behind, causing her to fall to the floor. The offender removed her handbag and made off.
The woman sustained minor injuries and attended the QE11 Hospital in Welwyn Garden City for treatment.
The offender is described as a white man, aged 25 or 26, approximately 5ft 9ins to 5ft 10ins tall and of a slim build. His face was clean shaven and he was wearing a dark hooded coat.
