Detectives have issued an E-fit of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the robbery of the Halifax bank in Welwyn Garden City last month.
On Thursday 24th January, the Halifax in Howardsgate in Welwyn Garden City was robbed just after 3.20pm when a Nissan Micra was reversed through the front doors.
An undisclosed large quantity of cash was stolen.
A woman aged in her 30s suffered a minor injury to her ankle after being hit by the car when it went in to the bank, but fortunately no-one else was injured.
Detective Sergeant Rob Burns, who is investigating the incident said: “We are very keen to speak with the man in this e-fit as we believe he may have vital information which could assist our investigation. We believe this man is in his thirties, although the e-fit may make him look slightly younger."
